Introducing the EVASION Snowboard Boot - a modern design that blends Curtis Ciszek’s signature freeride style and performance. Packed to the gills with technology, the Evasion offers superior comfort, support, and durability, making them a must-have for anyone looking to ditch the crowds and enjoy the soft snow of the sidecountry.

At Curtis’ request, the K2 Evasion boot features our Harshmellow™ vibration damping technology in the midsole, helping to absorb impact, reduce fatigue, and provide a “quieter” feel while snowboarding. Our Endo™ 2.0 construction is paired with a semi-articulating shell to deliver a smooth, distortion-free flex on turns, grabs, and landings while maintaining a consistent flex over the lifetime of the boot. Finally, we round out the K2 Evasion by cradling your foot in a heat-moldable Intuition™ Pro Foam 3D liner, featuring a 95% post-consumer coffee mesh liner to absorb odor while keeping your feet warm and dry all day.

The exterior Power Strap, No-Snow Lace Cover with a waterproof zipper, and traditional lace-up design provide ultimate comfort and micro-adjustability. The lace cover on the lower of the boot helps to ensure a secure fit throughout the day, especially when combined with the Conda™ with BOA® Fit System heel retention. This setup enables greater control in the boot - a better fitting boot means better control of your snowboard.

It started with an idea. Our snowboard boot scientists approached K2 Snowboarding Team Rider Sage Kotsenburg with a new concept on snowboard boot construction - and the switch flipped, it was on. A first-of-it’s-kind construction comes from a one-piece rubber lower with integrated mesh. To boil it down, this means that the Orton will not only be waterproof, but also warm and dry, all day long. The one-piece-rubber lower is married with a dual-zone BOA® Fit System featuring H5 Coiler, making this a versatile boot, fitting feet of all shapes and sizes.

In the development of this boot, Sage spent over 100 days in this product, getting it 100% right. Atop of that, the Orton was tested by our staff, our team of athletes, backcountry guides, and our film crew. Thousands and thousands of hours went into setting a new standard with the Orton. Sage knows that the devil is in the details…and he’s detailed. For the best performance in the bootpack, we chose our Vibram® V5 rubber outside. For ultimate damping and vibration absorption, we chose our Eco-Harshmellow™ injected midsole and Eco-Harshmellow™ Pro insole. For the best possible fit, we chose our performance liner-lasting and a heat moldable, tri-density, Intuition™ Pro Foam 3D Liner. To top it all off, a rip-stop asym lace-cover with a gaiter hook keeps all the snow out.

Cozy face layer! We didn't invent this type of face mask. But when we decided to make a single layer acrylic mask, we did something different. Everything we'd ever worn up until that point was a double-layer face sweater that would have a Florida man's face sweating in Antarctica. And soak up twice its weight in kid spit. Two layers is too much. Single layer? Just right! Pterodactyl on there!? Even better.

Whatever the weather, nothing protects you like a Freedom Suit! Featuring our Women's Every Body fit and updated with adjustable waist, the Airblaster Freedom Suit offers the same seamless protection as our Ninja Suit base layer, in a comfy 15K waterproof outerwear suit! Layer the Freedom Suit over the Ninja Suit (both with our trademark hip zip for easy-peezy) to create a powder forcefield that hits proper and offers convenient bathroom breaks.
